Local weddings are always great, a slight lay-in and a short drive home, Bridal preparations was just a stones throw from my home! I joined the lovely ladies mid-morning, excellent light was pouring into the makeup and hair stations within the conservatory with Stacey’s beautiful dress as a wonderful divider between the conservatory and the living room. Bridal Preparations was a really chilled affair, everything ran perfectly. Before we knew it the stunning wedding car had arrived and it was time to head off to Cricket St. Thomas Gold Club. I arrived and greeted Simon (Groom), Uh! No! Simon’s identical twin! Ha! I was pre-warned but still got caught out, very funny though.
The ceremony was held in the newly furnished ceremony room at the Golf Club, a nice modern chic space with plenty of light. Waiting to greet Stacey was Simon, the look he gave Stacey and their Daughter was such an emotive one, I’m still not sure if tears were forming it certainly looked like there where. Post ceremony it was off to the marque lawn for the drinks reception and group photographs; followed by the wedding Breakfast in the Golf Club.
Golf buggies! Yes! – Although I didn’t get to drive one, Simon did! So cool, we were off to the best view of the gold course for couples photographs, the sun started peeping, incredible views.
The evening celebrations were seen in with an awesome sunset with the beautiful lanterns of the marque taking over when the sun disappeared. The day ran so well, the Wedding Team at Cricket St. Thomas are fantastic, nothing was too much trouble for them.
Another beautiful wedding for a really lovely couple, i’m so lucky! Stacey & Simon even gave me a wonderful thank you card and some beer! woohoo!
