Ellie & Nath – Longhouse, Bruton

Ellie & Nath’s day began with Ellie’s preparations in the wonderful main mill house at Longhouse in Bruton, Somerset. With beautiful flowers in bloom and the bird singing the eco-friendly venue was absolutely stunning with a bit of sunshine to boot. The morning was a lovely chilled out preparation filled one with the venue placing out the lawn games, the cake Vendor constructing their beautifully crafted cake, final details arranged by the Florist and Nath giving Reggie (the dog) a lovely morning walk around the venue. The ceremony took place outdoors (there is an indoor option) of which we were so lucky the sun was still shining. Ellie’s walk to down the isle was fabulous, sun shining, wonderful colours and an extremely proud Husband-to-be waiting and lovingly gazing as she walked the whole way with a beaming smile. The ceremony was magical, such a beautiful location to get married. Reggie sat and watched his humans throughout the whole ceremony, I think he knew he could raise his chances of a sneaky canape or two if he was good. Beautiful eco-friendly flower petal confetti was thrown as the newly married Ellie and Nath accompanied by Reggie descended the isle and led the way onto the drinks reception with a stunning view. The canapes were beautiful, Reggie was pulling every trick in the book to score a nibble.  The drinks reception was followed by a fun filled hour of lawn games where so many smiles, victories and high-fives took place, such a great idea for any wedding; the guests loved it! After a fantastic time on the lawn it was time for the heartfelt speeches and lovely wedding breakfast. Post meal was a really chilled affair with everyone dispersing over the many levels of the venue, some heading straight back down to settle scores with the lawn games. The evening guests began to arrive late evening as the celebrations began with Ellie & Nath’s first dance leading onto a lively dance floor for the rest of the night.

Such a beautiful day, smiles from ear to ear!
