The Berystede Hotel

Lauren and Ben’s day was such a fun and fast paced day, a beautiful church ceremony followed by a short drive to The Berystede Hotel in Ashcot. The hotel is beautiful dating back to the mid-1300s having been developed and modernized right up to an unfortunate fire in the late-1800s, the building was restored into back into its Gothic Tudor style as it remains today.

The wedding breakfast room was stunning, the attention to detail on the table decorations was exquisite. The weather was really changeable throughout the day, sun and rain as if it were on a switch; The group photographs were interrupted by a heavy downpour causing a really fun scramble for umbrellas! – so many smiles!

Every wedding is special and in itself a one-off project but when it is a fellow wedding Photographer’s Brother’s wedding and the Photographer is also the Best man the pressure mounts! Dan established his team for the day last year which consisted of Sarah (Amy James photography), Tom (Eventus Films), Laura (LD Photography) & myself; despite not having worked with each other before we all clicked into place straight away.
